The waistband sits high, with a close fit over the seat. From the hip, the leg falls wide and straight to the hem, hanging loose around the thigh and calf.

It is a full wide leg, but a step narrower than DENVER — the width is there without taking over. Depending on the length you choose, the hem ends at the ankle or on the shoe.

The stretch denim recovers, so the fit stays the way it was cut.

71% Cotton · 18% Polyester · 9% Rayon · 2% Elastane

A cotton-led blend with rayon worked into it, which is where the softer hand and the smooth, almost matte surface come from. The polyester keeps the shape steady wear after wear, at the knee and at the seat. The 2% elastane is there for movement rather than stretch - this one sits closer to a traditional denim than to a stretch jean.

Here's the thing about denim: washing is what wears it out, not wearing it. Hang them up between wears and they'll be fine for weeks.

When they do need a wash - inside out, cold water, similar colours. Skip the bleach and stay away from the tumble dryer. Heat is the real enemy: it breaks down the stretch and pulls the colour out of the wash. Hang dry or lay flat instead. Iron on low if you want to.

Treat them like this and they'll keep their shape and colour for years, not seasons.
